Flick Me Friday! The Rascals.

So stoked on this vid! Its one of those videos that reminds you how awesome snowboarding is, and why its so awesome. No energy drink bucks here, no bullshit, just a bunch of grown men acting like kids. Love this one. Drink Water!

Craig Beaulieu and Chris Rasman 13 O'Clock Full Parts

2:07 of this video has to be one of the worst bails i've ever seen. Makes me sick to my stomach, can't believe he hits it again right after, huge props.

I haven't watched 13 O'Clock yet, but from these two parts it looks amazing. Definitely going to have to pick up a copy ASAP.

Isenseven Kaleidoscope Movie Premier // Review

Hamburg Premiere
Okay so I'm going to be honest, it'll be hard not to be biased in my review of Kaleidoscope. Reason being, the entire isenseven crew showed us an unreal time at their Hamburg premiere. Long story short we had free drinks all night, the movie started at 2:30 in the morning, we ended up leaving around 5am and had to get a train to Amsterdam at 8:30 the next morning. Thanks so much Alex, Julia and the rest of the crew!

Anyways on with the review, expect the best style of riding from these european shredheads. Isenseven is easily the best crew out of germany and perhaps all of europe. Every year we expect next level riding from every crew. Iseneven gives us this matched with the best cinematography to date. Every riders intro will leave you mind boggled through creativity. Kaleidoscope is evenly split by pow, park and street riding. Being mostly a fan of powder and big mountain lines, Isenseven never disappoints. Even the park riding is full of style making it stand out amongst most bland park edits. Not to mention the movie is filled with great indie music, after watching Kaleidoscope your be left stoked on snowboarding and left with a long list of music to download. Two things every shredflick should do. Isenseven keeps it real, buy Kaleidoscope here or at board store near you.
Rated 6 out 7 Abominable Snowmen
Kaleidoscope was directed, filmed and produced by Alex Schiller. THIS GUYYYYYY!

All I Can Street Segment

Perfectly paired music with the most unreal street segment ever. Welcome to Trail, BC. If your not one of the 700k people who have already watched this video, drop whatever your doing and press play. Simply amazing. JP Auclair kills it.

New Trouble Weed Shredstick

Trouble Weed 154
YES Snowboards just released the new Trevor "Trouble" Andrew pro board. Hopefully this means we'll be seeing Trouble in the next years YES movie. However over 50% of this years YES It's a Movie's soundtrack was provided by Trouble Andrew. Do yourself a favor and buy Trouble's latest "Dream's of a Troubled Man", arguably his best yet. Also buy YES It's a Movie, either on iTunes of DVD. So far my favourite shredflick of all time, look forward to a review later this month.

Anyways, the board is specified for park and all mountain, with twin camrock. And what's not to love about the graphics. Pick up some Trouble Weed from your local dealer, or over at http://shop.yesnowboard.com/

Simon D'artois

Whistler loc two-planker Simon D'artois kills it, footage from Voleurz That's Fine. Look for Simon in the dark park this winter.

The Art of Flight // Review and Download

Chances are you saw this trailer for The Art of Flight months ago, well it's finally time. First and foremost the movie can be found for download in full HD on iTunes, aswell as here for free.. Now i'm not one to endorse the illegal downloading of snowboard films, ill leave that up to you. Although by the number of Redbull logos and heli's I wouldn't feel to guilty. Which leads us to the review of The Art of Flight. There are two ways to look at this film, the first as the highest budget snowboard movie of all time, or looking past that at purely the quality of snowboarding and cinematography. Lets keep an open mind here folks.

This is only the second snowboard movie ever by Brainfarms films, and lets be honest here, the cinematography is amazing. They have super slow-mo cameras and gopros on everything, this makes for every shot to be an unreal one. Never once will a rider go out of the frame, and if he disappears behind a knuckle they have 3 more cameras on the landing. My two favorite scenes happen in AK, the first of which involves the man himself, Travis Rice, dropping to a spine ridden, avalanche prone face from the leg of the REDBULL heli. I've never scene anything like it in my life. To top it off he may or may not throw a casual 5 on the way down. The other scence I found hilarious was during some downtime in AK, the woodsman is them came out and i'll leave it at that.

Overall the riding was on par with That's It That's All, which was rather disappointing. There seemed to be a lot more actual riding in That's It That's All. Art of Flight was filled with a lot more of a story line and artsy filming. Not necessarily a bad thing but perhaps a let down if you dropped you hard earned cheddah on it. Basically I felt it did not live up the hype set by both of its trailers.

Endcase, form your own opinion of The Art of Flight, go into it with an open mind. Sit back and enjoy a movie about helicopters filming helicopters filming snowboarding.

Amateur Hour With PYP

PYPat King and crew's 2011 shred flick, Amateur Hour. Every year these guys seriously push the level of snowsports. The cinematography is par if not better than anything in the industry, and the athletes kill any feature put in front of them. The only thing that separates this from every other film out there is the lack of over credited sponsors and a hefty price tag. All for FREE? What more could you ask for, honestly.. The only problem I had with this years PYP film is the ratio of skiiers to snowboarders, nothing personal to skiiers, i'd just like to see a couple more shredsticks. What are you waiting for? Click PLAY fool

TORSTEIN VS HALLDOR: GAME OF IN YOUR FACE

Been waiting on this one for a while, hands down the two best park guys in the game. T takes this one but it should've been Halldor, gotta love all the tweaked out side hits and knuckle tricks.

17.5.11

Dave Short Jelly Spines

Easily the most trippy edit i've seen all year, probably the best POV as well. Dave Short fucking sends it. Gotta love a big mountain edit in May. Props to anyone who's still getting faceshots this time of year.

Don't Do It In The Park

Quite possibly the greatest rant of all time

Setting the bar high in the age of triples, go big or go the fuck home.

Voleurz Takes Home 15G's at TWSSF Intersection

Six crews, seven days, five to seven minutes. Voleurz took full advantage of their talented team of athletes and threw together a video of what they do best. Honestly just be thankful we dont have to wait till next season for this footy.
UPDATE! Just saw Family Tree's Intersection entry. Blown away.. Speak for yourself, but i'm pretty sure Family Tree should've have taken this one. Everything from the music to the riding seems to be on another level. Plus they used fireworks, lots of fireworks.

Let us know what you think.

Awesome POV footage from Seth Huot. Brighton got hit with some late season powder.
